Overview:

The PHS Philadelphia Flower Show is both the nation's largest and the world’s longest-running horticultural event, featuring stunning displays by premier floral and landscape designers from around the globe. Started in 1829 by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, the Show introduces diverse and sustainable plant varieties and garden and design concepts. In addition to acres of garden displays, the Flower Show hosts esteemed competitions in horticulture and artistic floral arranging, gardening presentations and demonstrations, and special events.

While in town, visit top Philadelphia attractions with a local guide including, the Independence Hall, were the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution were signed; the Liberty Bell, a worldwide symbol that served to remind Americans of a time when they fought together for independence; and the Reading Market, one of the oldest and largest public markets in the United States, offers an incredible selection of locally grown and exotic produce, locally sourced meats and poultry, plus the finest seafood, cheeses, baked goods, and confections. It is home to over 80 merchants that offer a wide variety of products ranging from art, crafts, and gifts to ice cream and flowers.
