Purchasing a ticket for this Tour benefits Heat for Preston. Heat for Preston began 10 years ago and has been growing in funding and volunteers since around 2005, when Kingwood resident Dick Shaffer decided he wanted to do something to help those who had problems paying to heat their homes. The fund is based on donations of money from private residents, organizations and businesses.
