Overview:

Experience the Finger Lakes, their food, wine, cheese and, of course, lakes! Learn from local guides the history, value and unique allure of this region, which includes not only the famous lakes, but also beautiful waterfalls in what is known as the "Grand Canyon of the East" and engineering marvels as the Mount Morris Dam. Here, travelers can get up close to three major waterfalls, with scenic overlooks and trails riddled throughout the park. Along these 4 days filled with delicious flavors and local charm we will also stop at several vineyards to tour their grounds and facilities and taste their famous wines, or non-alcoholic options, and at a cheese factory for a cheese tasting of its renowned artisan cheeses made from high-quality milk from cows raised locally. At each of these stops we will be able to enjoy the picturesque views and shop some of the local NY products.

Experience the best of this region by both land and water. Step aboard the largest tour boat operating on the historic Erie Canal and experience the locks as you pass through one of the 57 barriers that level the water by 566 feet from the Hudson River to Lake Erie. Enjoy dinner in a relaxing and scenic way aboard an authentic 19th-century replica of a double-decker paddlewheel steamboat, where history meets the tranquility of Canandaigua Lake.

Sroll the quaint village of Fairport NY to shop for gifts, home decor, crafts, and regional souvenirs from local artisans.  On the last day, visit the Sonnenberg Gardens and one of the few remaining estates with a Queen Anne Victorian-style mansion and formal gardens in America. 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners and 3 tastings included!
